BIOGRAPHY

I was born to deliver that which is in my soul and in many ways, I am in awe for what I see is so beautiful and yet surreal… Forever an artist, pure at heart, simple and kind… I Create. I teach the world to appreciate the beauty in those who with their hands sculpt the architecture of time. Forgotten finds, treasured finds… But oh, how remarkably divine.

My pseudonym is RAven and I am a national of the twin pearl isles of Trinidad & Tobago that sit in the North Atlantic Ocean in reverent beauty just off the coast of Venezuela in the vibrant Caribbean Seas. I was schooled at the Institute of Art and Design, in New York City, my major was Interior Design, but I share portfolios as I am a Prof. Interior Designer, the Design & Visual Coordinator at the studio I share with my business partner and husband, that I am also an artist, my canvas is my release.  I abide in the lush scenic hills of our Northern Coastal retreat at home in the Caribbean where my inspiration is fueled by life, silence, the comforts of nature, the gleaming speckle of the stars by night and yes, by the genius talents left over by Jacob Isaacszoon van Swanenburg, the renditions passed from Rembrandt's chapter, and the realism of Willem Witsen's scenic harbors that long stay adrift on our minds, to name but just a few. To these greats and so many others I accredit my love for visual arts.
